This experience includes greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction programs such as the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Gold Standard for the Global Goals (GS4GG), Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), International Carbon Registry (ICR), Global Carbon Registry (GCR), Isometric, Ormex, Global Carbon Council (GCC) and BioCarbon Registry (BCR).
We work across both emission avoidance and carbon removal project types. Our avoidance portfolio includes wind, hydro, solar, geothermal, thermal power, biogas, biomass, energy efficiency, energy-from-waste and agricultural GHG reduction projects. In addition, we are active in engineered carbon removals, including biochar, enhanced rock weathering and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).
Based in Ankara, Re Carbon Ltd. is the first and only Turkish company to be accredited as a Designated Operational Entity as part of validation/verification of GHG emission reduction projects and has significant expertise in the renewable, non-renewable energy and energy efficiency fields and cement, metal, waste management and agriculture sectors through the internal and external experts.
